I've been using these for years! With a timer, you only have to keep one clock set and all the lights (etc) throughout the house are controlled.
I already have the system set up with Indio 3 (for the Mac) and the PowerLinc 1132CU (has a timer so the computer doesn't have to be connected all the time).
I'd be curious what Fred uses for an interface and if it (the DDL) could be made to work with the Mac.

Fred must be using the CM11E as it and the CM12U (UK plugstyle) are the only 230V/50Hz X10 computer interfaces. All of the interfaces made by Smarthome (e.g. 1132CU) and all other X10-made interfaces are 120V/60Hz only.
Since the DLL predates the native serial port functions in PB, my guess is it will not work with the Mac but, as it uses serial comms, it should be fairly simple to write your own procedures.
