If you use PureStorage... you might have figured out by now that it is down. Looks like my web hosting partner has decided to part ways with our arrangement and did not tell me about it. I am looking for a new host but I doubt I will be able to run PureStorage as I could with my current dedicated host. I will not be able pay for a dedicated server so I will not have as much flexibility for scripts and such.
Let me know if you need anything - I kept a backup of all the data.
Sorry guys.

If you use GMail you could email code snippets to yourself with their functions described in the subject line. Then when they arrive, archive them. This gives you state-of-the-art offsite storage that is probably more reliable than anything else out there. You can save a lot of code in 8 gb.You have a backup of the Data ? Because , i use Purestorage for save "safely" my snippet

This is how to use Google code to store your files with tortoise (as we did in the past
) here : http://code.google.com/apis/gadgets/doc ... .html#Host and here : http://internetducttape.com/2007/03/03/ ... rtoisesvn/

That's a very good idea! Thanks.netmaestro wrote:[...]If you use GMail you could email code snippets to yourself with their functions described in the subject line. [...] This gives you state-of-the-art offsite storage that is probably more reliable than anything else out there. [...]

(... demonstrating once more that the best ideas are often the simplest ones.)
