How long have you been using PureBasic?

Post by Mistrel »

Out of curiosity, how many old skool PB users do we have here?

According to my first post, I've been using PureBasic for one year seven months. :)

It's not a contest of who signed up first. It's a question of who's still here.

Apparently I joined in February 2007.

That really surprises me as I only started using PB in July of that year. (That's also when my first post was made.)

Maybe I joined the forum but then had cold feet about "moving up" from MediaChance Multimedia Builder. Thank god I made the jump!.

I got PB in 2005 I think, v3.94 probably. Had a different login account then when I asked a few questions hoping to migrate from powerbasic

I didn't really start to use PB much instead of powerbasic though till v4 came out which I think was 2007? Earlier?

I got my 2 MB zip file of PureBasic v2.40 on 12 Aug 2001.

The details next to my Bart avatar says I joined here on 26 Apr 2003,
but that's false because the forums were revamped at one stage when
they took over from another host, and I didn't wait 2 years to join these
forums.

I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).
