You think your having a bad day ?

Post by SFSxOI »

Things Got Ya Down? Well, Then, Consider These . . .

In a hospital's Intensive Care Unit, patients always died in the same bed, on Sunday morning, at about 11:00 am , regardless of their medical condition. This puzzled the doctors and some even thought it had something to do with the super natural. No one could solve the mystery as to why the deaths occurred around 11:00 am Sunday, so a worldwide team of experts was assembled to investigate the cause of the incidents. The next Sunday morning, a few minutes before 11:00 am all of the doctors and nurses nervously waited outside the ward to see for themselves what the terrible phenomenon was all about. Some were holding wooden crosses, prayer books, and other holy objects to ward off the evil spirits. Just when the clock struck 11:00, Pookie Johnson, the part-time Sunday sweeper, entered the ward and unplugged the life support system so he could use the vacuum cleaner.

Still Having a Bad Day????

The average cost of rehabilitating a seal after the Exxon Valdez Oil spill in Alaska was $80,000.00. At a special ceremony, two of the most expensively saved animals were being released back into the wild amid cheers and applause from onlookers. A minute later, in full view, a killer whale ate them both.

Still think you are having a Bad Day????

A woman came home to find her husband in the kitchen shaking frantically, almost in a dancing frenzy, with some kind of wire running from his waist towards the electric kettle. Intending to jolt him away from the deadly current, she whacked him with a handy plank of wood, breaking his arm in two places. Up to that moment, he had been happily listening to his Walkman.

Are Ya OK Now? - No?

Two animal rights defenders were protesting the cruelty of sending pigs to a slaughterhouse in Bonn, Germany. Suddenly, all 2,000 pigs broke loose and escaped through a broken fence, stampeding madly. The two helpless protesters were trampled to death.

What?!? STILL having a Bad Day????

Iraqi terrorist Khay Rahnajet didn't pay enough postage on a letter bomb. It came back with 'Return to Sender' stamped on it. Forgetting it was the bomb, he opened it and was blown to bits.

So what if the stories are fake.

Did they make you smile or laugh? If so then that was all they were supposed to do.

It seems that some people are interested in the difference between reality and fairy tales. ;-)

I have to say I laughed out loud at every one. It's terrible how you find yourself hoping these tragic stories are true, because otherwise it means you've been fooled...

But what is "reality"? How do you define "real"?
If you mean, it is what you percieve, it's only electric information reaching your brain...

Very good question ( as you certainly know yourself ... ;-) ).
Many philosophers have written about it, and I think answering the question generally is beyond the scope of this forum.

real or not (I know they aren't), they were intended to be funny and a thought that even if you might be having a bad day that there are worse unexpectant things that could be happening so be happy in your present state and seek improvement not better. Don't be so literal that you can't see the humor or possibilitites in things.

@Kaeru Gaman

This is how i define "real": Real is what i see and i can know that are real.
But i always think, is this world really a real world. As there can be other worlds, where humans / or other lifeforms, think is world real. But human mind are very complicated thing. About paranormal, are all paranormal things, only human mind creations. Well i think some are and some not.

About ghosts

Well, in my opinion, ghosts not are real. But i have a theory about ghosts. So when person feelings are strong, those feels can be left on around. And when that person leave this world, those feels are free from that human. Then those feelings can start repeating on this world.

Yes i know, this would be a weird theory, but all this text is only speculating these things. In my opinion, there no are right answers for those questions. But i like speculate things.

Well humor is always good for all. Whitout humor and other good things, life would be a sad.

Yes. In a universum size, humans current knowledge are small. I think, nobody never can't find right answers for paranormal things and other big questions. But these right answers not are important.

Real is the total sum of your personal, emotional, and belief experience, that affects what you do, when you do it, and how you think, and how you relate to the rest of the world. It is a temporary state of being that changes with each new experience and with each new day with some old reality confirmed, some changed, and some being new. It is the collective environmental, emotional, and mental perceptual impact and effect upon a single person which may or may not be the same as anothers and is a state of constant learning and journey towards becoming who your are or deciding how you think and do.

Funny way to explain what is the animalistical irrational understanding of reality.
So, if living beings had never existed, then there would never existed stars or materia or densities differences? Wouldn't planets rotate around and travel around there? Wouldn't exists temperature differences, or electromagnetism?
Man, reality has almost nothing to do with the so called living beings in or out earth, and still less with men.
It is a pity there are so much ones with so little neurons that do not allow a wider view, but a narrow one and only up to 1 hand span max.

*jiggles*

so, what at all makes you sure that there is something like "stars or materia or densities differences"?

what ensures you that "planets rotate around and travel around there"?

why you claim that "exists temperature differences, or electromagnetism" how you even dare to claim there is anything?

everything you claim to be "real" are just concepts you've been told by "other people",
who call this facts because they observed something thru machines they built..

their perception is only information reaching their brain...

your perception of them telling you something is only information reaching your brain...

the only thing you can claim is your own existance (Descartes),
and the fact that you percieve something you interpret in a way that someone seems to tell you something that seems to be observations...

even the perception of your existence could be an illusion...

how can you prove that this all is not just a funny dream of Cthulhu?

you say you know something, I know I know nothing, so whose view is narrower?
