What's your current Futurama?

Post by Irene »

I guess I'm talking for everyone if I say that Futurama is simply the best animated series ever. I just finished watching through all the seasons... I'd love to see more of Futurama, simply because it's so great! Do I need to say anything more?

So to all Futurama fans: what's your favorite animated series now that you are addicted to like Slurm? Futurama is highly addictive, so what's your highly addictive animated series you simply need to watch?

Futurama is great, my fave ep would have to be the one with the dog, the one when it turns out that his dog waited for him for years and years, so sad :).

The best animated show ever was Trap Door though, really funny and some really great animations, check it out on you tube, but remember this thing is like 30 years old now, don't expect Wall-E.

No you don't. South Park and Family Guy are far superior. 8)

@vanbeck
TrapDoor is Plastiline-Stop-Motion...
I think this is basically different from drawed animation...

... ok, Futurama isn't all drawn, the 3D-Scenes are rendered.
oh... and have a nice day.

But Irene said 'Best animated series' - nothing about the media used, no guidelines as to what classes of animation are allowed ;)

I doubt there's too many shows out there that still rely solely on hand drawn artwork - it's all done with programs like MAYA and rendered. Shame really, it's like modern shows have much less soul than the 80's shows I grew up with.

The original Macross series... it was broadcast after 9AM when I was in 7th grade so I never got to see much of it unless I stayed home sick!

Star Blazers! (had the same fate!)

Speed Racer!

TThe one I hated was Clutch Cargo. It was still drawings with human mouths cut in over it for movement... silly!
Binarily speaking... it takes 10 to Tango!!!

Movie length anime and Akira still wins for me, then ghost in the shell (which on tv the other day sounds to have a sequel coming) for a series... Duckman!! I've never seen anything so funny in my life

Futurama is good - although they're just about all repeats on tv now.

But my favourite would have to be Drawn Together.
They take stereotypes and rip the ship out of them.
The best episode I've seen is when they make fun of entertainment weekly - the reviewer was EVERYTHING they make fun of.

But don't watch it if you're easily offended.
