It does, but only if you have an XBox....DoubleDutch wrote:Looks strange, but interesting...

An Xbox 360, that is.

I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Good programmers don't comment their code. It was hard to write, should be hard to read.

Looks quite limited. I suppose it is as good as CGCS I played with in 1999. Just more polish and 3D...

I suppose I did, but I consider it a shell and I suspect that "BoKu" is Secret Microsoft code for "Useless Tool"
I don't see where you can compile the programs or make money off of them! Thats what I want to see... Not some silly toy that will allegedly let the XBox programming staff "get inspired" by what users attempt to create!
Sorry... I must be in a very negative mood today! Little arguments with the wife about money and how I cannot print it myself... so we just have to earn it!

curiously under "Key Features" it says (underline added):
)...
(also there's a link to a different XBox360 prog lang called XNA...haven't read up on it since i don't really own an XB360)
sorry to hijack the thread but under "Related Products" (on the right of the page) they give a "shout-out" to a similar project for Win/Mac @ Scratch project at MIT which looks like a great teaching tool for learning the concepts of programming. played around with it a little and i sure wish this kinda stuff was around when i was a kid (it's almost "Lego"-like* Runs on XBox 360 and PC

XNA?
http://www.xna.com/
I looked at that too...
I always thought the XBox ran a version of Windows... Am I being wrong here?

Sorry f00l, it wasn't you! I promise!

I think you're right, but I'm not 100% sure. I remember reading somewhere about XBox running some form of windows...which in turn made it easier to port PC games to it, but I just can't remember where/when I read that (likely back when the original XBox came out).Rook Zimbabwe wrote:XNA?

XNA appears to compile code for XBox, Windows, and even Zune, but, again, I haven't really looked at it so I'm not sure exactly what it does/how it does it...
