Can i use WINAPI to create windows in PureBasic??

Post by Edwin Knoppert »

It seems to GPF when i call a lib from within WM_SIZE e.o.

The windows are created in the lib.
When i make calls to the lib from within WM_SIZE it gpf's.
Do not know why.
The window is created and can be resized, when i add code in the WM_SIZE and terminate window it GPF's
I placed a messagrequester right after my messagepump handler (in dll).
This never shows.

PS;
Is there a way to declare functions in my lib like VB does.
Declare MyFunc Lib "HELLO.DLL"....
Callfunction is not so handy for this.

You might want to try to dreaded DLLImport tool. It makes a small PureLibrary for your DLL allowing you to use the DLL commands just like the existing API ones, e.g. MyFunc_()
If you paint your butt blue and glue the hole shut you just themed your ass but lost the functionality.
