[NEW BOOK] Purebasic - A Beginner's Guide To Programming...
Hello Kale,
i just bought your book (i am a newcomer in PureBasic) and i have to congratulate you about the quality and the completeness of the book.
It is professional, well organized and it has good "geometry" in its contents.
Congratulation again.
Regards.

Hey Kale,
I'd just like to say, for all those thinking about buying your book, that I'm in no way a beginner to programming, or the PureBasic language, yet your book has proven very useful indeed as reference. If I forget something, I find myself diving into your book rather than looking it up in the "not quite so helpful" help docs
Good work!

No, I think you're right... lemme search a little, looks indeed there is stuff missing, perhaps a backup was restored?

Duh!
Yep. Some posts are missing, for example Coder-Gurl or whatever was her / his / its name is now listed with only 1 post, instead of 4.
Fred, did you delete some flammatory stuff, or was there a restore? (Euh, do I care? Not really

A dying language!
I think not! I missed the posts which have been removed, but I assume they broke the forum rules which have been made very clear now.
The mods cannot really win. When posts essentially went unmoderated through a spirit of openness and co-operation etc. things got a little out of hand and the mods took a lot of criticism for not stepping in sooner. Now that the forum rules have been reinforced and the mods take steps to remove certain posts which clearly break those aforementioned rules, they get criticised again... no win!
I for one prefer things the way they are now with far less flame wars about.

I may look like a mule, but I'm not a complete ass.
I seriously doubt the admins really care about someone's opinion of Kale's book (or much else for that matter). They may be attempting to avoid a flame war. (which appeared to be in the making).
The admins in this forum are about as lenient toward the posters as any I've seen anywhere. They sometimes try to avoid what looks to be a war in the making. Probably a good idea overall.

Up to now, I've read from you nothing else but stupid polemics. So what has this got to do with "don't give new users a chance"??Coder-Gurl wrote:No wonder this is a dying language wen u have admins that don't give new users a chance.
