Is there any plans to get the movieplayer commads to return the codec it is going to use to play the movie?
Is there any other infomation stuff these commnds could be return but aren't? I am asuming these commands are pluged into directx somehow, I've looked at the dx sdk and can't find a place to even start.
basically the thing is this, I know windows know about file types and the infomation within those files, because windows xp at least displays it in the properties box, but how do I access this infomation.
