MP3 ID3 Tags

Post by naw »

Hi, Did anyone out there ever write a library or Procedure for reliably extracting MP3 v1 / v2 Tags? I found a couple of hits on the Search and tried them, but the results were a bit hit and miss... Unfortunately, I'm not smart enough to write my own ;-)

I don't know if this is what you're looking for:

Also, do a search in the German forum for "MP3Info.pb", I think someone there posted PB code to retrieve much more info than this lib does.

A link to the source would be useful, since most/some of us don't speak german.

There was a forum crash some time ago. All data was lost.

Could you please make it available for all again... ?

There is also a way to do this through DirectX Show, as to how that is the question.
