Shell / Command line redirection

Hi All,

Is there any way you can capture the output of a command line program and use it in PB?

I.e. I have a command line program that prints a list of data - If I shell that program from PB, I want to capture it's output whilst the program is still running, and display it in a pb gadget. I know you can do it in other languages - is there some sort of windows API call that can create a callback function that PB can process?

I tried that already. I found one post about redirecting to a text file (not what I want to do), and another post pointing to this....
