Feature/Bug Status request

Post by BasicGuy »

I know PB is a "moving target" when it comes to development, and Fred, et al; have their hands full but I'd like to make this request anyway.
I'd like to see a page, thread or something posted that informs users of what features and/or bugs are being worked on.
Just from reading through the wishlist and bug report threads, it seems to me, IMO, that there is potentially a lot of stuff that could/might/would be fixed in upcoming releases.
In the time it takes to respond to a post in any of the PB forums, updates could be listed. IMO, it also makes the PB product appear more professional to potential buyers/developers if they are kept aware of what is happening and that issues, bugs/wishlist items are being addressed. :)

Thx!

The bug forums is here to keep you informed of the bugs found/fixed. About the new features, you don't like the 'surprise' ? 8)

We had this discussion allready some time ago.

Everybody can feel free to create such a list, but i can imagine, that it will
be a lot of work to keep track of all the numerous changes/fixes that are
made. Such a list would only help anybody, if it really is up to date.

Yes, multiple times. It always comes up, and nothing ever comes out of it. :D

This would be great, but I wouldn't be mad if Fred didn't as this in itself takes time away from the actual development of PB. Plus, this level of customer interaction is pretty rare nowadays. We're lucky to have Fred and Benny (and Company) here in person answering our questions in a surprisingly timely manner, oftentimes the same day :)

Maybe not a weekly update, but a monthly update would be doable? Eh, fred? ;)

And speaking of which, last update was in March... I get the feeling that the next one is any day now :D Am I right?
