Using the Win32 API Help file on Vista

Post by ignign0kt »

I'm having some trouble getting the Win32 API Help file to work. I'm running 4.10 on Vista, and whenever my cursor is inside an API function, and I press F1 (Or right click > Help) all it does is bring up Vista's "Windows Help and Support" sayin Topic Not Found...
I'm sure it's a Vista issue, as I know it works on XP. Is there to fix this?

Works perfectly fine on my Vista system. Has been for a long time, but if I recall I had to go to microsoft's site and download something to do with help files being in an older format or something, can't quite remember what.

On Vista you have to sometimes unblock the help file. Go to the help file, right click, choose properties, on the general tab click the 'unblock' button then apply, should fix you right up.
