I'm still having problems with the compiler not being loaded so i can't compile anything. This problem started with the v4.20 releases. I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate 64 (bit).

Basically, when i start the PB IDE the 'Compile/Run' button is darkened and does nothing when i click it. If i click the 'Create Executable...' button i get an error saying that 'The compiler isn't loaded yet, please try again...'.

Any ideas?

Thank you Fred! I think I'll have to send you another "donation" when 4.20 is released because this seems more like a major version release than a point release.

2) It is free (we use the excellent 'Express' edition)
Agreed, I just picked up the 2008 Express editions and am very impressed with how capable they are for free.

Hmm.... The new help file copied OK for me.[/list]

A short note about the IDE:

Unfortunately i have been quite busy these past weeks, so i did not get around
to fix all outstanding bugs in the IDE (especially on Windows).

Sorry for that. I promise i'll do it before the final.

@Kale:
What happens if you run the compiler from the commandline ?

Hell yeah! My 6000-line app used to take about 3 seconds to compile, but now it's instant! I hit F5 and it runs just about immediately! CONGRATULATIONS! :D :shock: Although, the executable size did go from 419 KB to 440 KB. I guess you can't have it both ways. :)

PureBasic is "blood and sweat" so don't use illegal copies... :p

Among all the programs I have purchased, PB tops it all... ;)
