[Implemented] PureBasic Project Files?

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

[Implemented] PureBasic Project Files?

Post by PBUser »

Hi,

what about an .pbp (=PureBasic Project File)? It shall include the links to all the PB-Files that belong to the project. It would be good to have a TreeGadget in order to switch easily between the sourcecodes.

I think that would be useful. What do you think about?

What does "include" mean? One big file? And what happens when you double click such a file? All files get loaded into the IDE? I think it's rather pointless because of the nature of PB. It does make sense for C/C++ though.
Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit / Whose Hoff is it anyway?

I agree that, 'cause I miss such feature long time in IDE.

@Fluid Byte: No. It should only contain the path to the .pb, .pbv and .pbi files.
@Trond: Which explorer tool? :lol:

The explorer tool can be added to the sidebar from the preferences. It shows files that you can click to open. If you organize your projects in folders, it works like a project browser.
