Announcement: Blue Mesa POS and POS-AIO Released

Post by Rook Zimbabwe »

Well after 4 1/2 months of development and working with CAM Commerce SOlutions to integrate their Credit Card Server into my APP. I am finished.

Blue Mesa Software announces the release of:

Blue Mesa Restaraunt POS
Blue Mesa Restaurant POS ALL IN ONE
and
Blue Mesa RP Server

and it is FREE.

I get paid by CAM Commerce Solotions and XCharge for each user.

Right now the software is limited to US and CANADA, but XCharge is expanding into Europe within the next 12 months.

And I still have tweaks to do on the CASH DRAWER system... But they want it out now!!!

Coded entirely in PB 4.1 and 4.2b2 and with the amazing help of a great many in the PB community!

Thank you all.

Cool! :D Congratulations!
Looks good and probably works good, but I don't think I will be testing it myself :P

How did you get in contact with CAM Commerce Solutions btw? I guess it's a good idea to code for a big company.

Honestly, they found me through a common fiend (er.... friend!) They were looking for someone tto code this kind of thing and my buddy owns a company that produces School Lunch Manager software.

He keeps trying to hire me, but I was already coding this application. I showed them what I had and they went monkey nuts!!!

They are building me a site on their website as well... I will add the link when it is finished.

Now... how to promote??? :D

Looks good. I wrote a POS in assembler (for DOS) ages ago, didn't look as good as yours though. :)

I had several benefits...

A) I wrote one in QB4.5 years ago too!
B) I had your help at least once for some particular issue :D
C) I had PB4.2b2 and 4.10
D) My wife let me be unemployeed so I could code it

I would like to pause and point out that most of the people that have responded to this thread... are the people that have helped me greatly learn PB!!! :D
