This "+1"-business is getting annoying.
If you don't have anything meaningful to say, why even post ?

(This is not against you specifically. I just see more and more people doing this, and its not really helpful)

It's because I like this request, but I'm not stupid and repeat what others have posted.

I'm not a politician you know ;-) --> All is said, but not from everyone.

But okay, I will do it for you:

I would like to see more supported window events, which are recognized by the PB commands WindowEvent() and WaitWindowEvent().

That would be: minimizing, maximizing, resizing + more events

+1

(Hey, I'm notoriously obnoxious :-))

I think adding the +1 shows to the devs what the users think is interesting. The more plusses, the more interesting.

And no.

You can't be thinking of doing +2's or -1000's :-)

Okay, no problem.

I use
This is a cool idea.
I like it.
Please add it in the next version of PB.
instead of +1...

I really don't understand the problem.

if someone posted a feature request in a way someother can fully share,
why bother readers with long ambiguous sentences?

a simple "+1" shows that the poster completely agrees and supports the request.
oh... and have a nice day.

I thought they made polls for this purpose.

Then if you want to avoid "+1" postings, delete all requests without a poll.
Easy and simple. No poll, "+1" postings..

adding a poll for each feature request? be serious!
and a poll is anonymous, a "+1" posting is a personal expression.
oh... and have a nice day.

As one of the dev team, let me tell you: its not working.

Its not representative at all, as its usually the same people who throw their
"+1"s all around. Also requests have to make sense and not just be popular.
Finally, if we really need to get some numbers, we can start a poll as Trond said.

Or it sais "I want you to implement this for me, but i am too lazy to ask for it politely"
If a feature is important to you then providing some good arguments for the
request is a far better strategy than just saying "i want this too", don't you think ?

The "+1" stuff is nothing more than another word for "*bump*", and you know how
we feel about those. So far i just ignored all the "+1"-posts, but recently they just
become too many, and it gets annoying.

Sad...
Its not representative at all,
Your opinion. Sad, that it is a developers team members' opinion, but thats only my opinion.
Also requests have to make sense and not just be popular.
What about makeing sense and being popular?
If a feature is important to you then providing some good arguments for the request is a far better strategy than just saying "i want this too", don't you think ?
No. Good arguments are good, but when all arguments are posted, what should I do? Shut the fuck up?
The "+1" stuff is nothing more than another word for "*bump*", and you know how

Didn't know, that I am in royal society now... Sad.
So far i just ignored all the "+1"-posts, but recently they just

I like these posts. So what should I do, when I don't meet your pretensions? Leave the board? Sad..

And by the way, wisenheimer, to say, that something is a cool idea is I think something meaningful and has nothing to do with laziness.

Ahahaha, freak!

Can you explain us something?

Why should we provide good arguments, if YOU don't give feedback? You are even not able to evaluate at least some of the requests regarding their importance, quality or sense. Don't you wonder, why all those people bump their requests and ask for your opinion? They do ask and keep the talk alive, because you don't tell them your opinion. You could decrease the number of bumps and "+1"-posts just by communicating with the community. Nobody forces you to realize every request. All the people want is a feedback that evalutes their request.
