Since the X-Box is a legacy-free PC with a small Win 2K Kernal it should be relative easy to extend the compiler to produce x-box executeables (XBE). The only problem I see, is to convert the game libraries (Direct-X) to the x-box (In my opinion only the game related libraries are needed!). With the official XDK it should be easy work, but without it's quite impossible until a free SDK is available.
So let's hope that some really cool Games come up programmed in Pure so that it makes sense to port them to the X-Box to sell more copies!
For me I'm sure I'll stick to Purebasic forever, i coded a lot 6502, 680X0, 80x86 assembler and a bit Basic on the C64 and i don't want to learn C++. I also bought Blitzbasic, Darkbasic Pro and non-Pro and I don't like them.
So i'm happy with Purebaisc getting better everyday!
Yours sincerely

Yes, ofcourse! But i think it's a delightfully thought to play around! For me it means to have the possibility to provide lots of different systems with my creations!
I wouldn't ask for a Gamecube or a PS2 version. But x-box seems to be in reach in a couple of years!

Hi freak,
no i don't even think about a Gameboy version, since I bought Dragon Basic to port my apps to the Gameboy advance! If there's already a version for AmigaOS and Linux, why not ask for X-Box? It's widely spread and i think more in action than Amiga!
I've got my Amiga 4000 PPC still functional, but i wouldn't use Purebasic to develop a game on it. I did all my programms in assembleer. But without Amiga OS 4.0 running on really new Hardware it makes no sense to me developing for it!
