I think that it is ggoing to need a lot of work. It doesn't even have SPRITES unless you define them in the engine. It uses Widgets that are drawn 100 times a second. Therefore if you have 100 sprites... you got to draw operations of 100 * 100 = 10,000 ops per second... Not much room for other things to be done on slower machines at that point! If youinclude the EMITTERS most people would use and an average particle load from each emitter at 50 particles... that number could easily surpass 1,000,000 really quickly.

I know... it is a sweeping generalization. I am looking to test some of the games written in Popcap to see how well they fare on my wifes Cel1000 with 512mb and on board video.

Then we will know! :wink:

It looks like a good, but unfinished idea.

I am personally waiting for the Chipmunk handlers to be posted. :D

Heh.. I need wrapper. Current irrlichtwrapper disappoint me (
incompleted, outdated, bugs). I need good 2D game engine (DX7). But I don't know how to make OOP-wrappers...

I also liked HAAFs Graphic Engine... HGE. Someone was working on a wrapper... :D
