This is not a PureBasic problem.
You don't have to open the mouse to fix it
Some cheap mouse there light sensors reakt on the sunlight.
Solution: work at night or cover the mouse with your hand.

:). For the whole story, here is the #PureBasic IRC snap:

Code: Select all

 I discovered something cool !
My mouse doesn't work correctly under the sun light :)
I even opened it to see what was wrong :)
But, that's it: works in shadow, not exposed at sun (damn light
           sensors :)
* O^_^O/#purebasic falls off chair
better work in the night alpha
 AlphaSND : LOL
This happens to me also years ago :)) but i was not so stupid to
          open the mouse
 problem: mouse to cheap :)
Berikco : you call me stupid you bastard !? :)
we have a couple of times a year clients who have this problem, and
bring there mouse in for repair :)
here it works of course :))
Hehe, it's strange, as one axis still works
only the axis exposed to the sun doesn't work :)
yep, it depends on the design of the mouse internaly, and the
          transparency of the material used

 Berikco : true
AlphaSND, you must put your hand over the mouse, it fixes also
 Berikco : nice tip :)
Berikco : post it on the forum :p
