In Linux: Ubuntu 7.10

- Can not Delete objects (option enable, but doesn't work)
- Can not Copy paste objects (unable: undo, cut, copy, paste)
- Does not work "Select All"
- Grid options do not work

I installed VD outside PB folder... tell me where I need to put
VD folder if this is a mistake...

Update: sat 2 feb 4:25 Canada ...

I move:
- "visual designer" to /home/purebasic/compilers
- "visual designer language.catalog to their respective /home/purebasic/catalogs
- for the english catalog I move english/visual designer language.catalog
to home/purebasic/catalogs
cause PB has "English" and no "english" folder...

it corrected nothing....

Delete key or X icon deletes an object here.

Please read the TODO list before posting bug reports about not implemented features.

The grid works, but is not visible under Linux yet.

You can not put catalog files in "English" , this is a mistake from an old PureBasic setup.

The VD uses lowercase filenames for all paths.

the VD itself needs to be in "compilers"

"catalogs" in purebasic main dir

Please don't put BUG reports here, the thread will be deleted when next version is released, so this is totally useless!!!

Will there be improvements for Visual Designer in PB 4.3? Ex. SplitterGadget? :)

Depends on what you want Fred to work on first, PB or VD

@Berikco: Aren't you still the maintainer of the VD? Or did you pass it on?
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).
"PureBasic won't be object oriented, period" - Fred.

I never was the only coder on the VD.
You can see that in the about box :)
I don't have to pass on something, the sources are on Fred's server, we can still work on it, but i don't have time, and Fred...same

Fred just decided it was more important to work on 64 bit and 3D first, and i think that is the correct choice he made.

I'm assuming from the last few posts that VD will NOT be updated for some time yet. If so that will be a shame
I'm finding the current version short in features & buggy.
I don't see VD as the desert or entre and PB as the main meal. VD are the vegetables and PB the meat on the main meal plate.
