Hey, i'm not going to make an XXX forum section for you guys.
Watch your language, youngsters like Sparkie and Netmaestro are reading this too!
You want to spoil there young brains forever?
The point being that these forums function fine and are an excellent means for fostering such contacts etc. Personally, if I needed to engage the services of another PB programmer, I would prefer not to advertise but to approach those who I deem suitable and I thought would appreciate the chance to work together etc.
You are correct there srod, an employer would get all the info they need from these forums to find a suitable coder for particular projects.
And as stated before a 'PB Coder Wanted' topic, in say Off Topics would probably attract a fair bit of interest.

This forum is about PB, and so there is no need for more professionality or improvements in structure?
I have manged some bbboards, and such improvements are a work of minutes, but okay, keep it as it is, and give us profesional coders the feeling, working with kiddys.
etc too but there needs to be some control as to what gets added. One person saying a jobs section is most important (not even a poll to find out if their view is wide spread) is going to lead to a free-for-all of new segments, many of which probably won't get used.
Powerbasic has one but it is not that commonly used. Hard to tell if it justifies it's own section.
Why not post to the "announcements" section if you have something to announce?
PS. The whole "do it or you're not professional" line doesn't really work around here, usually the result is that you get ignored till you learn some basic manners and people tell you to piss off without reading your entire post. Do your own arguement a favour and phrase it nicely as your opinions of us are just water of a ducks back.

Great! So we can have a "Database" segment now?
