I prefer PureMessenger.

Chat has more a orientation like XChat for IRC.
Messenger groups all Instant Messenger and IRC.

Why Not XMessenger ?

I still like the name 'Schmooze', but naw had a nice one with 'Rapport' :)

look at the sf.net page. there is code in SVN (but i havent committed my changes recently, because im reimplementing the msn code (with a lower msnp version)

seriously, i dont get why most of u have a problem with the name PureMessenger...
nor why this topic pretty much died, not that there were many people saying they were interested in helping develop anyway...
