According to 2CO all are getting their money back (I've got mine). It's a real shame when a "Internet-Hype" can kill such an offer.

I'm pretty sure that Medison really had a Laptop for $150, but their partners left when rumors got bad.

OK, Medison made a lot of misstakes, they could have handled in another way - but most to blame is media and "bad Internet hype". It seems as an offer can be too good... if the Internet Community doesn't believe in it - it's dead... at least for a small company with a good idea!!

And it's also my belief that low-cost computer with light operating system could meet the requirements for Word-processing/Web/Mail use in no problem. I have allways wondered why theres no manufacturer like this? There is maybe tons of answers I dont want to hear.

I am happy enough I know computer shop selling cheap "empty" computers with minimal content. You know, slowest drives, very little memory, small hdd's, very cheap gfx card. Ppl keep buying those alot piling them in carages to act as servers :D
