Actually some believe in the conspiracy theory that the moon landing never happed.
According to this conspiracy theory it's all recorded in a studio.
IIRC the proof should be that the shadows in the moon landing pictures are wrong.

there are also sites showing pictures taken on earth that show a simliar look of the shadows, the thing is I do think they had the technology to land a man on the moon but I don't think they had the technology to fake it.
And than you shouldn't forget they had Wernherr von Braun who build their rockets
Either way if they did land on the moon the evidence is up there and without an atmosphere it will stay intact for the next millions of years, when you look at the mars rovers I don't think it would be hard to send a probe up there and check the evidence. And I guess nations like china would be willing and certainly have the technology to prove it was a fake if it were. So well I guess China has proven the story to be true.

indeed, most real advantages the US had were based on the work of German scientists.
also the "flying wing" was a German concept, the B2 would not exist without it.

the argument with the shadows is rediculous.
those who made it had no idea about shadow-prejection photographed from a certain perspective.

I investigated all the so-called proves, none does stand an unbiased test.
I liked the idea the moon-landing was faked. I convinced myself it was real.

perhaps some or the pictures were recreated, because the original material was too bad.
they wanted a complete success...

but they were there - the reflection-platform is still there,
they send a laser-beam to the moon every day and measure the reflection.

I am pretty sure they landed on the moon though. I have been reading up on those "hoax" theories but i think they were disproven rather well. Besides, as you say, if it was a hoax it would be rather difficult to keep it a secret

Well... my father and my stepfather both worked at NASA from Mercury/Redstone through Gemini and Apollo 14, none of it was faked.

The proof for universal stupidity stems from the fact that anyone could believe that the moon landing was faked. There are still people that think the world is flat even today...
