Not sure about netty, but my German is not so hot! Now if there was a Hungarian forum then I'd be all set!

Edel's code is very similar to some of the code I use in egrid and is very effective. Still, using the #HDN_BEGINTRACKW notification is probably a little tidier.

Update: 31/07/07.
ListIcon now scrolls automatically if the user double-clicks a partially visible cell to edit it etc.

Great stuff!

It might be useful for users who need to change a lot of cells, to add optional parameter 'text selected'. Imagine: You change 100 values and the clicked cell value is - automatically - selected, you can save a lot of time.

Do you mean that instead of a double click to edit a cell we use a siingle click? Or do you mean that when a cell is first edited, rather than place the caret at the end of the text, we select the whole text? Either is simple to add.
