@Fluid Byte
I actually had this in my pb proj:

Code: Select all

	;// TRANSPARENT CAMERA BaCKGROUND COLOR = -1
	CameraBackColor(0, RGB(255,255,0))
	;CameraBackColor(0, -1)

; // NOTES FROM CameraBackColor() command!
; AS SUSPECTED, DOESN"T DO WHAT I NEED - JUST STOPS ERASING THE CAM (leaves trails, no cls in other words)
	; CameraBackColor(#Camera, Color)
	; Description
; Changes the #Camera background color. When a new camera is created, there is no background color
; To allow To mix 2D background And the 3D scene.
	; Parameters
; #Camera - The number of the camera you want To change the background color of. This is the value
; which you used when you created the camera using CreateCamera()
; Color - New color of the camera background. RGB() can be used To get a valid color value.
; (***YO***) If the 'Color' value is '-1', then the background will be
	; transparent (no color).

So yes I had RTFM (who's being a 'ass' in here??), even had pasted that into my code, but must have had a problem with the sprite at the time I tried that I guess, dunno.

You guys really are unbelievable. Do you not get hugged enough or something, is that why you feel good putting down others for no reason? I don't usually ever talk like that to anyone but you guys are pathetic when it comes to dealing with people. Please grow up. Are you 13yr olds or something? Hehheh, I'm sure those comments irritated your young sensitive skin, and I'm sure now that I said it, you'll come back with something sophomoric like "Hey don't be an ass vrman, my skin isn't sensitive and mean words bounce off me and stick back on you!" but rest assured I won't visit this thread again.

In all fairness Fluid Byte gets one last 'thanks' since he A) he knew what he was talking about, and B) showed restraint and didn't stoop to namecalling again like Gayman (lol sorry I'm getting into this now, I can see why you think it's fun! Let's all call each other names! Woot!) Just kidding.

since you seemed to have posted before I sent my postscriptum,
I repeat it to not letting it get lost:
Kaeru Gaman wrote:PS:
okey, after I took the time to read all of your post carefully, it just made me show a little friendly smile... ;)

I dunno how long you did not post, but I think I can understand your point,
because I only discovered internet forums three years ago,
and I'm programming for 25 years now....

I think you should pay most attention to the information in Fluid's posts:
he posted an example and quoted the helpfile to give an explanation.

I'm sorry not to have just put you on this, because I never tried such,
and I didn't look up the help and tried a simple example,
because you seemed to say you already did.... ;)
...this is why I suggested a workaround...
classic misunderstanding.

well, I think your problem should be solved by now, if not, let us know.
oh... and have a nice day.

and just one more postscriptum:
Gayman
yeah, thats funny.
stoop to namecalling again like Gayman
where did I call you names?
not a single time...

if you misunderstood this sentence:
so, I have some prawns to fry, cheereo..
this one was intended absolutely literally...
oh... and have a nice day.

I tried to stay calm but this crap takes of the edge man...

1.) After I posted my solution you posted that god damn novel wich was a complete and utter waste of my time. I want them back, these 5 minutes of my life! You said we should all relax and lay this issue down. But in fact that was the whole thing you talked about. Nothing about your problem, about the code I posted or at least one sentence clarifying if you still need help or not.

2.) After your next reply you indirectly stated we are immature kids not older than 13 years and the same post you call Kaeru "Gayman"? The hell is wrong with you kiddo?

3.) After all you were yelling and shouting like a Class1 forum troll and whining like a bitch because your problem didn't get fixed immediately.

But hey let's sum it up:

You caused shitloads of trouble just because you were too dumb to read the god damn fucking manual!

Here's a tip smartass:

If you expect people to help you, you need read the manual first and if that doesn't help post on the forums while carefully watching your tone when you write.

Have a good day senior!

LOL!, here we go again....

Ok FluidByte you want to keep going? Well here's my responses to this yes, utter waste of time and then I'm done done done.

You said for your #1:
"1.) After I posted my solution you posted that god damn novel wich was a complete and utter waste of my time. I want them back, these 5 minutes of my life! You said we should all relax and lay this issue down. But in fact that was the whole thing you talked about. That's kind of a long paragraph isn't it Mr. Byte? By the way, what is the rule for how long our posts can be when people jump down our throat for using a capital letter? ROFL!
And if you had read my post carefully, the novel, you'd have noticed that I said in it that I wasn't going to bother talking about the code you had posted until the silly ATTACK VRMAN war was done.

You said for your #2:
"2.) After your next reply you indirectly stated we are immature kids not older than 13 years and the same post you call Kaeru "Gayman"? The hell is wrong with you kiddo? "
Lol, you have no sense of humor byte. And honestly I was suprised to see that Gaman actually does!! Once again, Read my post a bit more carefully I won't bother explaining the humor. Maybe you're from another country and English isn't your first language that's fine, sorry you didn't think it was funny.

You said for your especially ridiculous #3:
"3.) After all you were yelling and shouting like a Class1 forum troll and whining like a bitch because your problem didn't get fixed immediately."
Can you show that part to me please? I really want to see where I was in a blackout and whined and bitched and said I was in a hurry and needed my problem fixed immediately. Maybe I did it in my sleep last night while I was ... uhm sleeping?? (Yeah I always post and then go to sleep when I really want a problem fixed "immediately") and was really in a rush for an answer without realizing I was! Must have been sub-conscious lol.

And finally, embarrasingly you said,
"You caused shitloads of trouble just because ...."
When was it exactly where *I* caused trouble????? Was that when I called you an ass? Oh no wait, you called me that. Was it when I apologized (even though I didn't need to) for using the shift key a couple too many times? Yeah that's really troublesome... Or was it when *I* said I was shouting too much (oh wait that was the other guy), or maybe when I called myself a "Bigmouth", nope that was the other guy too who just said he 'never once called me names' lol! (It's in a small font on his post .. not mine...) Hmmm.... I'm beginning to see a pattern here. Oh but wait, where was it when *I* was causing the trouble like you said? I can't find that part.
This really is ridiculous, I'm really sorry honestly I'm dignifying your post with a reply, but I don't like to be slandered so I stick up for myself. Self defense, not premeditated trolling.

Once again, grow up (this time I'm serious) and go play with your 'puter and please do something productive with your life rather than wasting all of our time with this pointless blather (which once again, if you actually take the time to honestly read everything, you'll see I never instigated anything, and certainly didn't "cause shitloads of trouble", I'd bet that a jury would stick that one on you and Gaman.
But I have a lot more respect for Gaman now since he owned up a little, and he has an impressive sense of humor! You can hang with me anytime Gaman.

Go ahead, get another last word in, you're doing great digging that hole!

Buh bye

Maybe you're from another country and English isn't your first language
so from wich country are you?
you didn't add this to your profile...
or maybe when I called myself a "Bigmouth", nope that was the other guy too who just said he 'never once called me names' lol! (It's in a small font on his post ..
uuh, ya right.. sorry, I just forgot this one...
...it was just too seducing to do so...
where was it when *I* was causing the trouble like you said? I can't find that part.
erm... because it is no "part"?
*ROFL*... sorry again...
oh... and have a nice day.

Hey Gaman, I really appreciate that you "Manned Up" or rather owned up and took the (misplaced) heat off of me.

I mentioned that in this other thread too a few mins ago:
http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtop ... 454#204454

You will definitely want to check that since I'm offering you something extremely valuable, free for your humility and for bringing us back to planet earth on this thread. It's something you'll really like, it's something (very powerful and cool =)

Peace (and I mean that literally! =)
