http://www.cint.se/debatt/ShowPostFlat. ... stID=62603
http://www.sweclockers.com/forum/showth ... did=698288

If it's too good to be true, then it usually is!

Then again, that nigerian mail you got could be the first real deal, and that gold chain you were offered on the street corner could be the first real gold sold like that! Likewise, this could be the real deal! We will not know for sure until the first computers are, or aren't, delivered.
Yea - I saw that today, the company seems a bit odd. The company phone goes to a number in Malmö Sweden, the mail address is a hotmail address, the owner lives in Brazilia and the postage and packing are free?!?

If it is a scam, media in Sweden will have a great deal to stand up for. The news of this computer have been in all big swedish magazines and they have interviewed people from this company.

So - I wash my hands! I hope it isn't a scam. If it is not - I will buy three of them...

BUT
he screenshots of the computer, has been found at other manufacturers. Companies, that Madison claim to work with, hasn't heard of the connection..
Secondly, the same address is being used by a variety of companies, all with limited information or sounding very sketchy, and having been incorporated for brief periods within the last 2 years. Sure, maybe some guy lives there and rents out his address to many corporations as a mailer. Maybe it's a gigantic hi-tech complex smack dab in the middle of a residential street. (And miraculously occupying only the "27" section.) But there's other, less savory assumptions one could draw that could be believed more easily.

Sorry about that. I took it from a Forum and didn't check it.

I also read from IDG in Sweden (an IT Newspaper) that they have a Brazil factory.

I'm going to order one or two now... :D

had to make a new post. Look at this:

THIS is the comp from medison:

Image

this is a comp from the company Clevo (which does exist)

Image
Image

true they are not completely equal, so maybe they just "borrowed" some of the design.

one thing that speaks for this company is that they use 2checkout.com to order through though. I bought software from them just 4 days ago, and it was no problem.
I just spoke with 2co.com, and I was told that if I paid that whoever is selling the laptops won't actually get the money untill the computer ships. I was also told, that if for some reason it does end up being a scam, that I would be refunded.

The regisitered office address can be resonably explained, i've worked for a few companies who are registered as having head-offices in London, purely for the prestige of having an office there. There are agencies in London that purely offer this service, even though there is no real office space there.

The more i look into this tho' the more i think i maybe shouldn't have bought one so quickly. :x BUT, Medison have been featured in ALOT of media and the head guy has been giving interviews about the PC. So i'm not sure what to think. I guess the proof will be in 4-6 weeks and to see if a PC turns up.

I found this message from the president of the company:
Hej,

Basta halsningar

Well (again), if it is no scam I wonder how they do it? InfoCare isn't cheap, free postage and packaging around the world? It's incredible, but I'll guess they maybe live on the volume.

However someone noticed that they might be purchasing the laptops from Clevo and changes them a bit. Who knows if they have a relationship with them? BUT i have to say it looks very much like a scam as it is right now...

How on earth they get a clevo for that amount of money is out of my imagination, except if they get the cabinet only from them
