Do you have a demo?
Also, is this being made in Purebasic?

Cool, I love them too, that's why I figured out that I should try to make one myself. I've still mostly just testing stuff and it's not ready for a demo release yet, maybe later. And yes, it's coded in PureBasic! ;)

A Kendo Game

Post by pdwyer »

Actually I'm new to PB from Powerbasic, I want to try the GFX stuff in PB so I'm putting a little game together. It may be rubbish but there are no kendo games out there so I dished out my old kendo text book and am putting one together as a learning exercise and little hobby :)

I've got the sprites looking okay now but I'm still struggling with the engine a little.

I could tell you but then I'd have to kill all of you. My travel budget just doesn't stretch that far. :) Something involving the (from what I've read so far on this forum - not that it matters, use what ever SDk etc. that floats your boat) much maligned Blitz3D SDK combined with PureBASIC. I was originally going to return to C programming, but could see it was going to at least double the development time. I'm very, very rusty. Heh, hmm... In more ways than one actually.
Please forgive my poor English, I'm an Australian.

I'm working on a program that stores lyrics and keeps them saved for you. You can enter lyrics in and view them with stunning features.

I haven't done anymore work on it since I had to finish some other stuff first, but ok, I can let you try this "tech demo":

My ego shooter got 15 points (15 of 15, here it means: very good). Now it's up with finished documentation and everything.

http://www.bradan.eu/files/3dshooter.zip (same link as above)

I will reset the highscore now.
bye,
Daniel

Together with 2 friends im working on a 2d 4X game.
Its settled in a fantasy/medieval settings and is heavily inspired by master of magic from microprose.
Another source of inspiriation is kales civIV mod "fall from heaven".

We are working entirely in purebasic so we will have a win/linux/mac version with the same amount of work if we would only create a windows version.

The target is creating a game that could be named "master of magic II" , but with better graphics ( still 2D ) , more strategic options , more editing or modding posibilitys and and and.

Screenshots aren't yet avialible since most of the graphics are test.bmps yet and look not that pleasant.
But stay tuned for further informations :P
