I started using v7.1 the other day but quickly got disillusioned by
two main things:

(1) Its bookmark system is absolute crap! If you have sub-folders of
bookmarks you can't even view them for editing, and trying to add new
ones to sub-folders is hell too.

(2) It doesn't work with many web sites that I use. It won't work
with just about any Australian bank sites, and sites with even the
simplest JavaScript code. Look at http://www.pirated-sites.com/ with
it, and click any of the submitted sites... only one window pops up,
instead of two side-by-side like it's supposed to.

Opera 7.1 is good, but it has a LONG way to go before I dump IE... :)

Yes, i cant go to my BankOfAmerica account.

But for surfing is a pleasure to use Opera.

I just switch to go to some sites, but for the rest i use Opera.

PS. Pirated Sites works well here in Opera : )

Best Regards

Ricardo

Hmm, yes, it's working now for some reason. Didn't the other day.

I have an older version of Opera on my Internet Appliance under Linux, but I'm not satisfied.
Maybe because it's an older version, I don't know.
Under Windows I work with Phoenix (little brother of Mozilla) and I'm happy with it.
It's the fastest I ever used.
There is also a function build in, that prevents from displaying unrequested popup windows.
I'm happy to work with Phoenix @home and @work.
Now I have to figure out how to get Phoenix running under Linux on a 16MB Flash disk.

Have a nice day...
