What we think about using bad language is not the point. Courtesy to others is the point. Courtesy includes not using words and phrases that others find offensive. Giving offence includes "hate" and flame type posts and it also includes the use of swear words.
To continue to use foul language shows a lack of courtesy and sensitivity, don't you think? To deliberately do so after someone has expressed discomfort with it can show malice, not so? It certainly indicates a self-centered personality.
It is also possibly a minor sabotage of PureBasic. A significant minority of people dislike the use of curse words and a percentage of them may not get involved with PureBasic if during their assessment period they encounter what they consider to be vile language on these boards. They may not want to be associated with a community that talks that way - or with an organisation that allows that to be done.
OTOH a forum free of that sort of language is not going to cost a sale.
Perhaps we should ask ourselves how many Euro's our curse word has cost Fred. And Fred should ask himself the same thing and perhaps rethink allowing this on the forums.
IMO we can have conversations without swearing and this will not detract from the meaning of the conversation nor will it limit our ability to add emphasis.
Just some thoughts.
