Hmmm... Actually Xerox had them both beat, but pointy headed executives could not see why anyone would want to use windows or a mouse to control a computer...

Sure about that? That Xerox had "double-click"?

We used a graphic interface at school, that was based on Xerox interface. I remember that it had three mouse buttons, but I don't remember double click...

It was called "Medley" or something like that.

Checked my old books... Yes, the Graphical Programming Environment we where using at University was Common Lisp / Medley developed by Xerox. This was almost before X11 became popular, what I remember.
