Post by bembulak »

Hi everybody!

I'd like to know, how many of you are listening to podcast of any topic and how many of you would be interested in a PB-Podcast.

Thanks for your opinion! :D

not an option for me in the poll. I listen to podcasts all the time, but I would NOT listen to a PB podcast.

I listen to podcasts pretty much.

There's a good german and international podcast of the "CCC" www.devradio.de (they have an international also, but I don't have to URL yet).
Very interesting. About Linux, Unix, Programming, ... Computer and Geek related stuff. :)

Then, there is the python-411 podcast from Ron Stephens on www.awaretek.com - very good. Up for over 50 issues now!

And the Java-posse is also very good. www.javaposse.com !

I think it would be great to have a PB-Podcast once a month. Infos about new libs, updates, cool codes, homepages, stuff where PB is mentioned (Demo-scene,...) and interviews.
This would be less work than designing a magazin. When I look at the python-podcast, it seems this can be done by one person!

I will watch this poll until next week. Then we'll see, if ppl are _really_ interested.

What exactly is a podcast? If I knew, then I may be interested. :)
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Think about a Radio-Show, to download as an MP3 or OGG to listen to on your PC or MP3-Player.

After reading through all of the * podcast * and voting, I got something from the server: Your vote has been cast. Haha.

Yes, I would listen to PB-Podcasts.
And maybe I would help you to create some interesting podcasts.

I agree this would be cool... We should even have a PureBasic programming radio station hehe, or a tv station. It does not have to be there 24/7, a few hours/day would be cool. We could advertise announcements made in PB there and have some commercials too, and from the money we could donate to Fred :). Tood good to be true hehe.

I would be willing to offer some bandwith on my root server and maybe give some talks on things like PB on mac and Linux

RSS Feeds combined with bittorrent should give a decent download speed.

PB.CM died.
PB.Podcast will die, too.

Hmmm, what did actually happen to PB.CM? I was expecting it to grow, not die :? .
