1. Go to Google Maps
2. Click 'Get Directions'
3. For start address, put New York, New York
4. For end address, put Paris, France
5. Check out the route, pay particular attention to #24 - it's a doozie!

It isn't Google Earth, it's Google Maps, so you don't need to install anything, just surf to
http://maps.google.ca/?hl=en and click 'Get Directions'.
