Blue Mesa Calendar {insert year here} 99% Finished!

Post by Rook Zimbabwe »

I would like to pause here to announce that Blue Mesa Software (a division of Blue Mesa Enterprises aka Me) has finished Blue Mesa Calendar.

Initially developed to learn about reading, writing, and updating DB in PB. This is a functional and useful piece of software that simplifies office life.

This could not have been finished with the able, astute and insightful assistance of:

Code: Select all

; PureBasic Visual Designer v3.95 build 1485 (PB4Code)
; DAYBAR 1.0
; By Ralph Wm Dunn
; (c) 2007 Blue Mesa Software - All National and International Rights Reserved
; Help from and thanks to:
; TROND, SROD, PB, and especially NetMaestro
; Walker, Paul, Dontmailme, Fangles, Num3
; MAJOR Kudos to DARE as well!!!
; Huge Kahuna Kudos to NetMaestro for creating Vistaclock

;- Window Constants
;

Enumeration
  #Window_0
EndEnumeration

Kind of a long one. Plans are to sell the Calendars every year for a small $3.99 fee... First year (this one) free... :D
Binarily speaking... it takes 10 to Tango!!!

You are using that clock gadget illegally. I found that gadget with its nonrestrictive license, saying I could use it as I wish. I took the liberty of decompiling it and registering a copyright on the code.

If you wish to discuss the necessary licensing fees to use that gadget, you will need to contact my office in China.

To quote Freddie Prinze, Sr.: "Lookin' Good"

For the uber dense who lack a sense of humor, I was joking about the licensing, etc :P

Oh No!!! Illegally??? I will immediantly send you 1,000.00 Argentina Reales (old style, pre adjustment...) just as soon as they allow transactions on 1/98th of a US penny!!! :D

At everyone that helped... I am offering you a free registration if I ever get past one small hump... protection.

The window is 768 long... I didn't plan well enough yet... I have to rethink the print page button maybe so I can leave some room for the wondows bar... and I have to think about 800X600 too... I have thought of Sideways with 2 columns of listing... implementation was easy. I am just fiddling with the look.

Oh, and Fangles... you asked other questions on the forums and posted other snippets of code that pointed me in the right direction and really made me think it might be possible to do what I really wanted to do (not this... this was just a learning exercise...) My POS porgram.

I have used this off and on for many years. Not the best, but not the worst. Weighing price vs. features vs. security, this is really hard to beat.
