I have just tried to install my Zonet ZEW1600 wireless lan drivers on my fresh install of Windows XP Proffessional, my only problem is it fails to work, with any driver I can find anywhere on the internet, can anyone help me here? Ive spent all night looking and im growing quite tired, and without these drivers I have no internet.
Im not sure if its something wrong with my pc or not, since most drivers online dont work, but the official ones are down (dead link), so im not sure...
Though I do doubt this very much as they have worked on vista for almost 2 months now.
Windows XP Driver Help
My graphics card is showing up fine and hte drivers install and work except for the dual monitors, il find a way to fix that, its my network card I mostly care about.
I install the drivers and they run in the background, but the utilities run, and just close themsevles, and XP has no built in wireless, I cannot tell. But it is displaying the card in the device manager.

I run a LinkSys router and the drivers provided by the wireless card were dated 2003!!!
Updated from the Australian site and the drivers kept disconnecting themselves every 15 seconds and windows WiFi management wouldn't even work, even though I had SP2 installed.
Strangely enough, I went to the American site and downloaded their 'newer' drivers and monitors and everything worked from then on.
Maybe we need to look around for alternative sites with more up-to-date drivers compatible with SP2 because I'm willing to bet that is where the problem lies with your drivers.

Ah yes, service pack 2, why didnt I think, the computer the drivers worked on before were running it, and vista is bound to have whatever its missing, if only i could get on the internet to install it, lol. I suppose il have to find a way of feeding a wired connection through my ceiling, but thats gonna take days, can i downloada full copy anywhere? Its usually an online installtion...
