Don't know how many of you already knew this, but here you can find a diffenrecne engine built out of standard LEGO parts, it can solve polynoms to the 2nd order with 4 digits precission

@Bonne_den_kule I think so yes, at least it can calculate the value of f(x)=ax^2+bx+c

Babbage built 1 engine, his idea for a steam powered engine that would do far more had to be shelved because of time and cost and a few widgets that he just could not get right...Because of engineering issues as well as political and personal conflict the Babbage Difference engines construction had to wait until 1991
