Sarkozy or Royal?

Post by ricardo »

Which one do you think (or want) to win in next elections in France?

In America i feel that Royal is the favorite (for american governments and people), its the same in Europe?

No, no... i can confirm as i'm french.

Nicolas Sarkozy and Ségolène Royal (but not only - there are 12 candidates) are the pretendants for our president election in France (every 5 years), in about one month.

About Sarkozy : I just hate this man.

About Royal : Well why not, even if i'm not sure if she can be a good president. But she represents a good opportunity (this is just my opinion).

The situation of the workers in France is going very bad (going more & more poor, life more & more expansive but incomes (money) are stuck).
So i just hope that this time french citizens will vote in mass.

Ha, salut Fred. Tu m'a devancé.
Il semble que les francais intéressent le monde, jusqu'en Argentine.

"Ségolène Royal" just sounds like a very rare expensive drink or such....

"Do you want a Kir Royal?"
"No, I prefer a Ségolène Royal"

Well would be funny to have so many female presidents, I can see Hillary Clinton, Angela Merkel and Royal doing some cool chick fight in front of my inner eye^^
Well I think it's a petty Merkel won't get hand kisses from the french president anymore and I think Royal and Hillary won't get on very good, while today Merkel really helps to bring those 3 big countries together (Bush just loves that Merkel is a preachers child and that she was born in the Sovie Union and still she is a democrat), politics are getting funny I think^^

Many people here looks with interest what happends in French elections.

As i said before, Sarkozy is not very popular on this side of the world (As Merkel is not very popular neither).

Because we feel that at this time everything is connected. We are far from France in distance, but in some way can be influenced by what happends there (and in some other countries).

We are, at the end, all passengers of the same ship.

In the other hand, many people here are worried about Sarkozy because people hopes that dont makes a tendence of the next kind of governments.

People here feel interest on elections if France, Spain, Italy, etc.

It's because there's been no update to v4.02, so we've all been having big
heated discussions about religion, time travelling, and other deep subjects. ;)
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

OT: What do Argentinians dislike about Merkel, form my point of view she is dozen times better than Schröder was, however Schröder was miserable so that doesn't mean much.

Sarkozy : he is a negative person, he manipulate too much the media, he can say something one day and it's opposite the next day, he "plays" with the extrem right (FN) ...

Royal : she is not someone wich incarn the country, she always smile, change her program depending on what the people want to hear, know nothing about international politic, nothing about the geopolitic, have nothing to offer to enterprises ...

Voting in France is a very difficult task this year, a lot of us "pop" one by one from the stack and choose the last one in it.
There is the Bayrou alternative, he seems to be the least worse but nothing to push the country in a dynamic like Germany.
