DemoCoding - PaNighTro (Intro)

Post by va!n »

This is for all the ppl, dont know this production done with PB...

Some time ago, there was a PB compo , creating a program that has something to do with "wind and light" ... here is the result a very good friend and me created Smiley

www.secretly.de/public/PaNighTro.zip (source including exe)

The full intro is done in OGL using an own OGL Engine/Framework... So excuse us for the bloddy big source, including some unused stuff ^^

This intro made the 1st place in this compo...

But they are for different programs? (You have 5 topics for the same program (PureBasic) )

The exe works ok but the .PB files stops after a couple of seconds with an array out of bounds error.

On winXP - same for me - exe works ok but the .PB files stops after a couple of seconds with an array out of bounds error. The .exe works on XP fine, looks nice.

On Vista - (yes i know it was written for XP) - .PB file stop after a couple of seconds with an array out of bounds error then trashes Vista. The .exe runs, then trashses Vista.

This gave me the one and only blue screen crash that i've ever had in Vista since the RTM version, really since beta 2. Vista recovered nicely from it however and nothing was lost or damaged.
