To anyone wanting support during that period: if you have an IRC chat
program (eg. http://www.mirc.com), then you can chat in the following channels:

Servername: irc.freenode.net
Port: 6667
Channel: purebasic (english)
Channel: purebasic.de (german)

Naturally this applies to all times, and not just when the forum is
down. Hope to see you there!

None of my business but have you checked http://www.kdawebservices.com and similar? I use KDA and for Â£10/month and it worked out a lot less expensive than any other solution I could come up with (and that was 2 years ago)

Or better yet, you can leave a ghost page here when you take this server down with a link to the new server using the IP instead of the domain name in the link so the down time will be very much smaller?
