Will we be getting a Christmas present from Fred soon?

It's been a looooong time since the last update. I'm hoping for a Christmas surprise!

Anyone else?

Yes. Fantaisie Software is not that bad. Just look at the last updates :

Sorry, you're right. However, the home page still says:
PureBasic v4.00 (Windows) (05/08/2006)
- Major release
- Huge new features, reworked internals, enhanced compiler... Pure Basic compiler news
..so it's not apparent to the casual observer (me). But, hang on a second...
Download PureBasic 4.00 full version for AmigaOS (OpenSource)
Holy crap! When did this happen!

My apologies. I guess I'll have to dig deeper from now on, although it wouldn't hurt to update the home page to reflect the latest version(s) even if one or more of them are in beta.

An interesting note:
The FULL version for AmigaOS is just over 1000k, whereas, just the UPDATE for Windows is 11.6MB...

Just thought it was an interesting comparison of now versus the good 'ol days...

Note that only the compiler is actually at version 4. The rest is no longer developed,
and therefore included as open source.

That's still pretty impressive, though. So does that mean that all 4.0 commands and features are supported?

This is just out of curiosity, as developing for the Amiga would most likely be (unfortunately) a waste of time... Coming from a HUGE Amiga enthusiast (me), that's saying a lot.
