is amiga forever os 3.x compatible?
(i am waiting for amiga forever 2008 platinum (hopefuly includes the new emulated device network adapter which can be used with winuae).

My uncle has tried PureBasic 4.00 for AmigaOS on his Amiga 1200 when it had AmigaOS 3.9 installed. He has since updated the Amiga 1200 to AmigaOS 4, so if you want I could ask him to try PureBasic on AmigaOS 4.

AFAIK you need Blizzard PPC in order to run OS4 on an A1200, correct me if I'm wrong.
Good programmers don't comment their code. It was hard to write, should be hard to read.

No, you are right :) AOS4 is PPC only.

Yes you are right, he has a PowerPC accelerator in his Amiga 1200.
