The Setup is compressed with LZMA by InnoSetup. It's better than Zip

Aaa I see. I tried compressing the update files with RAR, got alittle better then ZIP, but still not close to LZMA.
Do you know any free programs that compresses to LZMA?

Help :(

I am not able to use the SmartUpdate 1.1, it downloads the File to Update OK, I click on 'Download now' and I get 'Download was aborted'.

I can download 4.0 from my account, and after several attempts managed to download Purebasic_Update_4_01_(4hxgvs).zip, but do not know what to do with it. None of the ReadMe files seem relevant.

I do an update so rarely I have probably forgotten the obvious thing... but some help would be much appriciated.

--------------------------------------------

Later... OK... I Extracted the ZIP file above to the PureBasicRev4 directory and that seemed to run through OK. Now, when I compile I get messages like this from a source that compiled OK yesterday with 4.0 ...

PureBasic.asm[31548]:
v_AWID_hComm rd 1
error: symbol already defined.

------------------------------------------
Later... Some source files compile OK and others do not. I have a target to meet later this week so have re-installed 4.00 and the libraries I use and will leave 4.01 alone for a while

You need to extract the update zip file to some other temporary or work directory that is empty.

Then run the UpdateTool.exe program to perform the actual update.

After the update is complete, you can safely delete any left over extracted files from the temporary or work directory.

A Update is fine - but the IrrlichtWrapper dont run anymore.
It cames as Includefile and uses PrototypeC to map the Functions.
But with PB 4.01 it wont work.... A Bug ?
