PureBasic 4.01 for Windows

Post by Fred »

Hi,

After a quite intensive bug fix session, we are happy to unleash the first bug fixe release of the PureBasic 4.0 compiler. Check the history for more infos, or look at the fixed topics in the bug forums if you are really curious ;). Thanks to all the bug reporters, you are doing a great work to improve the overall quality of PureBasic. We plan to do several bug revisions until the compiler reaches again a stable and reliable state.

You can grab the new version either on your personnal account, or via SmartUpdate (the prefered way as it's faster/smaller).

Have fun,

The Fantaisie Software Team.

Thanks for the download. The help file is missing, so there's no way to see the history. Any chance you can add that to the download?

I used the smart update and the help manual was updated okay.

The helpfile is also included in the download (all languages)
Just run the UpdateTool.exe and it will be properly copied.

Ah, this time the SmartUpdate worked for me! I was seeing 3.94 updates for my 4.0 release.

Nice job and thanks for the updates!

I'll throw a couple bones your way Fred in a week or so.

And don't let Redmond talk you into selling!

Thank you - this is pleasant surprise!

Edit: Lol, the first thing I ran it on it found a FreeMemory bug that v4.00 missed (my bug, in a prog I am just developing now, not a PB bug).
