I'll make a few exe's tomorrow for download.
So anyone having Vista could then post a few screenshots.
This would help me determine if XP -theming remains solid under Vista.
And yes, i need you to use the (default) theming (if available) and just run the two exe's.
One without one with xp manifest.
The control's appearances are important to me.

This is my first test file:
http://www.hellobasic.com/trials/vista1.zip
I hope you can show it themed and not themed.
(If there is such a thing in Vista)
Do not collapse the Explorerbar - childform.

Is this some alternative theme?
Must say that the controls (like the Explorerbar) are pretty bad imo.
If anyone has different images, i'm curious.
At least the technical part is answered, one button lacks an image.
Thanks for testing!
PS, here is the XP look:

It's just the basic Vista theme, I installed it a couple days ago and never changed anything. Imaging in general can be dicey in Vista as they use the new Aero system. For the screensavers I've written it gives a stupid message window saying "Switching to a lower graphics level to run this program" before it comes on. But then it works ok. You can select other themes that don't use the Aero but I've not played with that yet.
