I don't run the system at maximum resolution because with my vision it would make text impossible to read and for games, there'd be no benefit, so I get pretty good performance from the system I have now.

@Straker, thanks for the tip, I ended up buying almost that exact card but with a few more bells and whistles. Mine has an internal clock speed of 575 mhz and will augment the onboard 256 mb of DDR2 with 256 shared from the system for a total of 512. With 2gig of system memory I'll never miss it. So far, a few days in, I'm still a happy customer and getting happier by the day. I have Vista RC1 installed and the graphics on that OS are mindblowing!
