Some of PB's 3d function tutorials and guides?

Everything else that doesn't fall into one of the other PB categories.

Some of PB's 3d function tutorials and guides?

Post by ..::Origin::.. »

I'm just curious if anyones been writing, knows, or has written a tutorial about using the 3d functions of PB. I'm not too great with 3d at all, can't model, but i understand basic stuff such as textures, meshs, models, rendering, etc.

Anyone have a tutorial?

I don't know which kind of tutoriel you seek, but I started to write some for beginners, it's not finish, and it's in French.
Tutorials 3D here

If somebody wishes to make the translation in English it is possible to do it on the same site Here

Hi,

So as to not clutter this thread I have posted a weak-as-water first attempt translation here: http://www.purebasic.fr/english/viewtopic.php?t=23301

What would be neat would be if someone could make it real. :)

Comtois, any chance of explaining the relationship between things like UV and materials, etc etc? (How this sort of stuff can be used in a practical way and what the numbers mean)

I've been reading up on alot of tutorials, And i now understand things such as meshs, models, special effects etc... The thing i'm still lost on, is creating landscapes.

I have no idea how, but in the PB example of one, all there is is a jpg... Can anyone shed some light on how this works?
