I think the gadgets in the help file should have a link to where you can read about it's API, the editor gadget shoud have this link, and so on.

It would then be much easyer for us wanting to do more with the gadgets, because it's often hard to find the page where it's described in the MSDN.

I'd say just to put the class name because then you can search for it in a downloaded help file without having to be connected to the internet, and also it's faster to add.

This wouldn't make sense as there are also Linux and Mac versions of PB.

yes but the help can say the classname used for each OS (Win32, KDE, ...)
i think it's a good idea. more transparent.
