Ubuntu and PureBasic

I have problems with the text in PB getting garbled in the editor. This is my first time using Ubuntu and was wondering if there was a fix for this?

Are you using the "gtk2" version? If so, try the normal version. "~/purebasic/compilers/purebasic"
