IDE editor bug in OSX?

Post by hard2sea »

I'm a newbe to purebasic. I tried the demo and it seemed to do what I might expect. I purchased Mac version and it seems that I can enter text in the Editor but the return/enter key at end of line is not recognized, so no new line.

; just some sample text

I used the above comment. Samples and code made in textedit will compile OK. I did note the announcement of OSX verson having the integrated debugger disabled.

Am I being stupid or just ignorant?

Editor bug (Return at EOL)

Sorry that I posted this, as I found the solution on the Max OS forum. Per their post, it is a bug and may be gotten around by <shift> + <enter>.

Cool!
